welcome to baytherapy hypnotherapy exeter & torquay, devon

Far too many people continue to live with a problem and often feel too embarrassed to even talk about it.

If you want to make positive changes you have come to the right place.

I am Penny Albertella, and I am one of Devon’s most experienced Hypnotherapists.  I am qualified in both Clinical Hypnotherapy and Hypnoanalysis and offer hypnotherapy in Exeter & Torquay.

This website is dedicated to make it as easy as possible for you to take the next steps by giving you the information you are looking for, whether it is the symptoms hypnotherapy treats, or to find out more about hypnotherapy and how/why it works.

Hypnotherapy is a wonderfully fast, effective therapy which changes lives immeasurably in a very short time.

All types of physical problems can be treated with hypnotherapy – the mind and the body are inextricably linked – blood pressure can be lowered, pain relief support IVF and help with infertility (unexplained).

Hypnosis for Childbirth, usually known as Hypnobirthing, is often learned because of fear of the birth itself, fear of the pain, fear as a result of previous bad births, or because the Mum wants to give birth as naturally as possible, and with as little pain relief as possible.

weight loss

There are literally thousands of books and exercise videos, drugs and clubs. The trouble is that all these methods rely on willpower, which is why they usually fail in the long-run. Will-power and complicated or faddy weight loss diets are just is not necessary with hypnotherapy for weight loss. This is weight loss without willpower needed.

help with unexplained infertility

The diagnosis of ‘unexplained infertility’ can create feelings of helplessness and frustration in couples who long to become parents as there is no answer or apparent ‘fix’. Yet, in many ways, this diagnosis is good news – there is no physical reason why you may not become parents. You are not infertile, you just have not conceived yet.

My main hypnotherapy practice is located in the heart of Southernay, Exeter at Southernhay Clinic, just two minutes walk from the new Princesshay shops, restaurants and bars. (see map below)

There are several car parks within 2-3 minutes walk of the Clinic as well as on-street metred parking. I recommend the long stay car park in Southernhay Gardens (just off Southernhay East) as this is very reasonable.

When you get to No 4, there is a panel of buzzers for Southernhay Clinic, press the buzzer marked Portobello. You will hear a click and buzz, push the door open and come on up to our 2nd floor waiting area where there is comfortable leather seating. There is also a rest room here if you need to freshen up.
